Quick Summary

This article explains how Prepaid Card Campaigns function in Loyaltify. These campaigns allow businesses to offer prepaid packages and redemption options based on credits. Prepaid campaigns are managed through the Campaigns section and include both Purchase and Redemption types.

Overview

Prepaid cards operate on a credit-based system. Customers purchase a bundle (e.g., 20 credits), which they can later spend on defined rewards such as a car wash or a product.

There are two types of campaigns for prepaid cards:

  • Purchase Campaigns: Packages customers buy to load credits onto their card.

  • Redemption Campaigns: Offers or services that can be redeemed using prepaid credits.

How It Works

Prepaid card campaigns work on a credit basis:

  • Customers purchase a package (e.g., 20 credits).

  • Each redemption reduces the balance based on the associated campaign.

  • Staff can track usage and remaining credits through the customer profile.

There are two campaign types:

  • Purchase Campaigns: Used to credit the customer's account when a package is sold.

  • Redemption Campaigns: Used to debit the account when a service/product is consumed.

Note: The amount type can be Fixed or Custom. When using Custom, a default credit value is set, but the staff can modify it when selling a package.

Real Example

  • A Bulk 20 Package gives the customer 20 credits.

  • One Exterior Car Wash might cost 1 credit.

  • A Full Car Wash (Exterior + Interior) may cost 2 credits.

The customer can redeem these as long as their prepaid card has enough balance.
