Quick Summary
This article explains how Membership Card Campaigns function in Loyaltify. Membership campaigns differ from others in that they are visit-based, cannot be edited, and do not provide any rewards. These cards are typically distributed manually by the business owner after a membership is sold.
Overview
Membership cards allow businesses to track how many times a customer visits or scans their card. This setup helps in measuring customer engagement and loyalty without providing rewards. It’s a great tool for managing exclusive memberships or access-based programs.
How It Works
Membership campaigns:
Are visit-based only.
Cannot be edited or customized.
Cannot have additional campaigns created.
Do not provide points, discounts, or tangible rewards.
Instead, each scan of the membership card increases the visit count associated with the customer.
These cards are meant for tracking purposes only and are usually given to customers after purchasing a membership.
Real Example
Suppose a customer buys a yearly pass to a gym studio. The studio owner issues a Membership Card through Loyaltify. Each time the customer attends a class, the card is scanned and one visit is counted.
