Quick Summary

This article explains how Cashback Card Campaigns work in Loyaltify. Cashback campaigns allow customers to earn a monetary reward (e.g., €5) for their purchases and redeem it later. This loyalty model encourages repeat business by offering spend-based benefits.

Overview

A Cashback Card offers customers a portion of their spending back in the form of a redeemable balance. These campaigns operate through two core types:

  • Purchase Campaigns: Earn cashback for every transaction.

  • Redemption Campaigns: Use earned cashback to pay for products or services.

All cashback campaigns are managed directly under the Campaigns section of Loyaltify.

How It Works

Cashback campaigns reward customers based on the amount they spend:

  • Purchase Campaigns: Each scan of a cashback card triggers a reward based on a fixed amount or a multiplier of the spent value.

  • Redemption Campaigns: Customers can use their cashback balance to redeem a specific product or subtract from the total bill.

Merchants can define how much cashback is earned using one of the following

Amount Types:

  • Fixed Amount: A specific cashback amount (e.g., €1) per scan.

  • Custom Amount: Allows manual entry of the cashback amount at the time of transaction.

  • Multiplier: Automatically calculates cashback as a percentage of the purchase (e.g., 10% of €20 earns €2).

Real Example

  • Purchase Campaign: "Every purchase grants money" with a 0.10 multiplier. A customer spending €20 earns €2.

  • Redemption Campaign: A campaign such as "Fix Product" allows customers to redeem a service or product for €2.5 using their cashback balance.
